Whiskey Grilled Chuck Roast

Makes 4-6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup whiskey
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 ½ pounds beef chuck roast

Directions

  1. Combine whiskey, brown sugar, soy sauce and water. Place the roast into a plastic bag; add marinade and seal.
  2. Place in a dish; refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally. Grill over medium coals about 20 to 25 minutes per side for medium. Baste occasionally with marinade.
  3. To serve, cut into thin slices.
