Shrimp Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked, peaeed and deveined shrimp
  • 1 ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 ½ cup diced red bell pepper
  • 3 cup Skim Milk
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 2 lb. Fresh Wisconsin Cream Cheese
  • 2 cup Wisconsin SarVecchio Shredded Parmesan
  • 3 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Ground Pepper
  • 1 box medium Fettuccine

Directions

  1. Take your shrimp cut in half width wise and set aside. In a large sauce pan melt butter over medium High heat. When butter is melted turn down to medium heat and add milk bring to a simmer. Add your garlic, pepper and cream cheese a little at a time stirring constantly so milk and cheese doesn’t burn.
  2. Once the cream cheese has melted into the milk then start adding the Shredded Parmesan until all has melted into the sauce. Buy this time you should have a fairly thick Alfredo Sauce. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  3. While you are making the sauce, bring to boil a pot of water for the fettuccine.
  4. Once your sauce is done place all the shrimp, mushrooms, and bell peppers into the sauce and let simmer for 20 minutes. Place pasta on plate and spoon sauce over top.
