Peach Chiffon Pie

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ cups chopped fresh peaches
  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • ½ cup whipping cream, whipped
  • 9 inch crumb crust

Directions

  1. Add sugar to peaches and let stand for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, soften gelatin in cold water. Stir in boiling water. Cool. Add peaches, lemon juice, and salt. Chill until cooled and thickened; fold in whipped cream. Spoon into the crust and chill completely.
