Marinated Sirloin Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ pounds sirloin steak (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • ¾ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp parsley flakes, dried
  • 1 tsp thyme leaves, dried
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions

  1. Place steak in a shallow dish or large heavy-duty resealable plastic bag.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over the meat. Cover or seal and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Remove meat; discard marinade. Grill, uncovered, over medium coals until meat is cooked as desired, about 6-7 minutes per side for rare, 8-10 minutes per side for medium or 11-13 minutes for well-done.
