Island Pork Chops

Makes 4 servings


  • 1 can (8oz) pineapple chunks
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2/3 cup chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 tsp canola oil


  1. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. In medium bowl, blend juice with cornstarch; stir in pineapple, chili saice, sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
  2. In large skillet, lightly brown pork chops in oil, drain excess fat. Pour pineapple mixture over pork. Cover; simmer 10 minutes or until pork is cooked. Serve pork and sauce with couscous or rice.
