- One tomato
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 teaspoon olive oil or butter
- Pinch of basil, tarragon and oregano
- Sprinkle garlic powder
- Salt & pepper
- Wash, core and cut each tomato into 8 chunks. Peel onions, chop roughly and add tomatoes. Add butter or oil, salt, pepper and herbs.
- Wrap mixture in foil and seal edges well. Tuck package down into the coals or place on a grill rack. Depending on heat, allow 15 to 30 minutes or enough time for onion to get tender.
