Grandma's Chili

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
  • 1-1/2 lbs ground beef browned and drained
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ cup green pepper, chopped
  • 16 oz can tomato sauce
  • 2-16 oz cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Add ingredients to a slow cooker; heat on low setting for 6 to 8 hours
