- 1 16 Ounce can or jar of sauerkraut
- 1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Onions
- 1 Cup White Wine or Apple Juice
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 Cup apple - peeled and chopped
- 1 Dozen Juniper berries
- Mix all ingredients above together, put in a pot and simmer for 30-40 minutes. Make sure there is enough liquid, if the sauerkraut is not covered, add a little more wine or apple juice.
