German Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups bacon, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cups cabbage, grated
  • 4 tbsp green pepper
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp onion

Directions

  1. Place chopped bacon in frying pan and cook until golden brown, but do not burn.
  2. Add lemon juice and salt; stir well.
  3. Mix with mayonnaise and pour over vegetables; mix well.
