Firecracker Salmon Steaks



  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup chili sauce
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp. minced fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp. minced fresh gingerroot
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 4- 6 oz salmon steaks


  1. Coat grill rack with non stick cooking spray before starting the grill. In a small bowl, combine the vinegar, chili sauce, sugar, garlic, parsley and seasonings. Grill salmon, covered, over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork, brushing occasionally with sauce.
