Fajita Style New York Strip Steaks

Makes 4 servings


  • 4 New York strip steaks, about 12 oz.
  • ¼ cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • vegetable oil


  1. Preheat grill for medium high heat. In a small bowl, combine lime juice, cilantro, chili powder, cumin, oil, salt, and black pepper for a paste. Rub mixture on to both sides of steak. Place on grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness. Remove from heat, allow to rest for 5-8 minutes before serving.
