Cream Topped Quarter Pounders

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 3 cup sliced sweet Spanish onions
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dill weed
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream
  • 6 hamburger patties

Directions

  1. Saute onions in butter until golden, stirring frequently. Add mushrooms and sauté 2 to 3 minutes longer. Blend in flour, seasonings and sour cream. Cook over low heat, stirring gently, for 5 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, broil or grill hamburgers to desired doneness. Serve cream-topping over hamburgers, roast beef, steak or on toasted roll.
