- 1 4-5lb. bone in ham
- 1 ½ cup dark brown sugar
- ½ cup whole cloves
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- Pre heat oven to 325. Take your ham and slice just through the skin. Cut diamond pattern. Then rub your brown sugar into cuts and all over the surface.
- After that is done then pour the syrup over the brown sugar. Last insert the whole cloves on each point of a triangle, on the surface of the ham.
- Cover and cook for 2 ½ hours. Remove foil and baste with the juices of the ham and glaze. Cook for another ½ hour to 1 hour. Let stand for 15 minutes.
