Bone in Glazed Holiday Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 4-5lb. bone in ham
  • 1 ½ cup dark brown sugar
  • ½ cup whole cloves
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup

Directions

  1. Pre heat oven to 325. Take your ham and slice just through the skin. Cut diamond pattern. Then rub your brown sugar into cuts and all over the surface.
  2. After that is done then pour the syrup over the brown sugar. Last insert the whole cloves on each point of a triangle, on the surface of the ham.
  3. Cover and cook for 2 ½ hours. Remove foil and baste with the juices of the ham and glaze. Cook for another ½ hour to 1 hour. Let stand for 15 minutes.
