Basic Meatballs

Makes 2 1/2 Dozen

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs, dry
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together. Shape the mixture by tablespoonfuls into 1 ½ inch balls.
  2. To cook in a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon salad oil in a large skillet, cook the meatballs over medium heat until brown, about 20 minutes.
  3. Drain off excess fat.
