Barbecued Beef Crock Pot

Makes 3-4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. roast, cut in large chunks
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped green peppers
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/8 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Directions

  1. Add ingredients to crockpot in order given Do not stir.
  2. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour; turn to low and cook 8 to 10 hours, or until very tender.
  3. Stir a few times during last hour. Shred and serve on warmed buns.
